Tomorrow: A Change in Plans
1 CommentsI’ve been looking forward to preaching tomorrow from Ephesians 5:1-2, but it seems the Lord has other plans. I’ve been laid out with a migraine headache for most of the week, and yesterday afternoon Bob Kauflin volunteered to preach in my place.
Bob is going to preach a message from Psalm 24 titled, “Living Like a Psalmist.” I’m so excited for you all to hear this message, which he originally preached at the Worship God 08 conference. And I’m so grateful for Bob’s willingness to jump in and serve our church in my weakness. Thank you, buddy!

Don’t forget to come prepared to get your picture taken for the Member Photo Directory if you haven’t already.
Looking forward to worshiping the Savior with you!

Busy Sunday, Braden Up To Preach
0 CommentsTomorrow, Braden Greer will be preaching from our next Ephesians passage: chapter 4, verses 25-32. This will be Braden’s first time preaching on a Sunday, and I’m so excited to learn from this gifted man.
Bob Kauflin will lead our time of singing, and since it’s the first Sunday of the month, we’ll begin memorizing a new hymn. For February it’s “Be Thou My Vision.” We will also take time to pray for the nation of Tajikistan as well as our own nation and our new President.

Above: Dave Wilcox, Erin Jones and Bram Lillard consult after the first service last Sunday. Dave is Covenant Life’s Technical Director. He leads a small army of servants who make live video and sound happen throughout the building on Sundays. Bram serves as Assistant Technical Director on first and third Sundays. Erin is assistant to pastor Grant Layman. On Sundays you’ll see her hanging out near the sound booth helping to oversee the flow of the meeting.
A busy day tomorrow! We return to our Ephesians series, and I’ll be preaching from Ephesians 4:17-24. Devon Kauflin will lead singing. We’ll also receive the Lord’s Supper together and dedicate 30+ children to God’s glory.
