Can’t wait to hear the podcast… he’s my pastor here at Summit :). One of the best gospel-centered pastors in our area here in RDU (if his book title isn’t a giveaway ;) ). Seriously though… get the book, it is a timely message for all.
By Andy on 10/10/2011The teaching on Sundays message dug deep and was crystal clear. I was hoping to have a say at the end of the meeting but since time ran out I want to sahre this message with all of you and hope it will be deliver this coming Sunday. My heart was quicken by Vernon Robinson’s word of encouragement, that if anyone is saved today, they will be looking back at this day 20 or 30 years from now. As we know it, there is no time in heaven. Time begin when the Lord created heaven and earth. By looking at revelation 4:1 most emnphatically “After these things I looked, and behold a door standing open in heaven.” This door is still open for anyone to come in even now. Salvation is for anyone who wants to recive the Lord. This door has been open for over 2000 years and me must act as if it just open and that time here on earth is running out but in heaven with the Lord there is no time and we will be having a fest for all of eternity. Prase the Lord. Frank
By FRANK LATTANZI on 10/11/2011I was away when J.D. spoke and just listened to his message. What a needed reminder to us given our current issues to keep the gospel a priority. Not just the doctrine of the gospel as it applies to our own life but the proclamation of the gospel. We must continue to see things from Gods perspective. There is a dying , hurting unsaved world out there and God has entrusted us with bringing them the gospel. If we don’t tell them, who will? Also, as Tim Keller has said, the proclamation of the gospel must be ” cutting edge” of the churches mission. Thank you pastors for bring this brother in to remind us and provoke us.
