Lost in the Middle: Conference Recap and DVDs

Back in September, 1500 people gathered in the church auditorium for the Lost in the Middle Conference with Paul Tripp. Although targeted at midlife, the conference spoke powerfully to all of the age groups present.

If you were not able to attend, or if you did but would like to review the conference material, you can purchase a Lost in the Middle conference DVD (available here at www.paultrippministries.org, and soon available at the Covenant Life bookstore).  Because of copyright considerations, this DVD is the only existing recording of the conference.

Please be praying that God will continue to work in our hearts through Paul Tripp’s messages. The pastors eagerly anticipate both immediate and long term fruit from this conference.  Below are a few abbreviated comments from people who attended:

“God is still skimming the dross off of me, not in small pieces, but in big chunks … I’m looking forward to seeing what God does with me!”  (Covenant Life member, mid 60s)

“I am not alone; lots of people my age struggle with the same things … God is always in control, and I never was.” (Covenant Life member, mid 50s)

“My anger/suffering is coming from learning [that] my idols have failed me.” (20-year-old visitor who learned of the conference through an accidental visit to the Covenant Life Church website)

“A friend called me at 6:30 p.m. while I was on my way home from work to go to the session that started that night at 7:30 p.m. I had been praying to Jesus on the way home for help, and this was it … I was struggling alone with the issues of midlife – disappointment, death of dreams, regret. This has been so helpful and a Godsend.” (Visitor)

“[God] really is the Treasure and the Thrill of our lives.” (Covenant Life Member)
