For Ladies: Saturday Morning Seminars
5 CommentsThe women’s ministry of Covenant Life Church will be hosting two Saturday Morning Seminars for the women of the church and their guests, one this October, and one next May. These and future seminars are designed to provide encouragement and teaching on a variety of issues, with some seminars targeting the needs of specific groups of women. Here are details on the October seminar:
Charlotte Ennis: An Ordinary Woman and Her Extraordinary God
Walking with God as a Single Woman
Date: Saturday, October 23
Time: 9 a.m. to noon
Location: Events Center
You may think that being single means being alone, but nothing could be further from the truth for the Christian. Our amazing, loving God is always near and always much more involved than we can imagine.
Is it possible to find faith, hope, and joy no matter what? Who is this God who loved us so much that He gave his only Son to save us? What does he say about himself and us? How can we not only be encouraged but excited about the future? Join us as Charlotte Ennis shares a look back on her 20-year walk as a Christian single woman, from the amazing moments to the ordinary days.
This seminar is geared toward single women 18 and over; however, all women 12 and up are welcome and will come away blessed and inspired by Charlotte’s teaching and example. Please join us for a time of teaching and Q&A. No registration required.

Charlotte,
Thank you for serving the ladies of Covenant Life Church with the grace in your life. You are a special example of a woman who fears, trusts and delights in the Lord.

I know that your deep faith and subsequent spiritual walk will inspire and bless many, many women during your upcoming seminar. I am one woman who has been considerably blessed by your friendship and gentle counsel over the years. I am praying for you as you prepare; that God’s presence, His power and His peace will be yours, infusing you with the confidence that the Holy Spirit imparts to one who (like you are) is desperate for Jesus’ glory to be displayed.

I decided to post a comment, because you probably don’t know that what you said at that seminar is being heard right now in Poland (yes, the one in Europe:)) and I wanted you to be encouraged.
I am almost 31 years old, and I am in love with the Lord, still waiting to be in love with a human:) I love how you focused you seminar on the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness, how great and gloryfing to God all of your stories were - you quoted many wise women, and surely you received great wisdom from God over the years. Thanks for sharing on the amazing works of our God. He truly is GOOD.
God bless,
By Monia on 04/05/2011Hope to hear more of what you have to say in the Spirit:)
