Loving the Church: What’s Your Next Step?

In his message on Sunday (1/17) Joshua encouraged each of us to ask, “What is the next step I am called to take in expressing the priority of loving God’s people in the church? What is my next step for growth?”

For some of us, that next step is beginning to serve in the church for the first time. For those who have been around longer, it may be acting on the Holy Spirit’s prompting to serve in new ways or resolving to carry on faithfully where we are now.

Below is a brief list of teams which have immediate openings. Please contact the church office or e-mail the LINK team to get involved. Also, feel the freedom to inquire about other teams and opportunities.

Sunday Metro Shuttle Drivers: Drive the church shuttle to and from the Shady Grove Metro station.

Parking Greeters: Help direct and greet guests as they park on Sunday mornings.

Starting Point Greeters: Welcome and interact with Starting Point guests on Sunday mornings.

Introducing God Cooking Team: Help cook and prepare meals for Introducing God guests on Wednesday afternoons.

Single Parents’ Ministry: Serve at the monthly Single Parents’ Ministry meetings. Meets every third Saturday.

Au Pair Place: Represent Christ’s love by building friendships with au pairs. Meets every first Friday; ladies only.
