Current Opportunities To Serve

Auditorium Sound – Enable church events to proclaim the gospel clearly by setting up speaker equipment, managing soundboards, and recording messages. Serve once a month: Saturdays (4:30 - 7:30 p.m.) and Sundays (7 a.m. - 2 p.m.) and other optional events throughout the year. Training will be provided.

Auditorium Video – Help magnify the proclamation of God’s word by running video cameras, playing videos and controlling song lyrics. Serve once a month: Sundays (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) and other optional events throughout the year. Training will be provided.

Au Pair Place Volunteers – Extend friendship and the love of Christ to young international ladies who are in the country for a short time as nannies. Meets the first Friday of each month (7 - 10:30 p.m.)

Communion Preparation – The communion team needs a few people to serve one Saturday a month to prepare communion bread for Sunday morning. If you are looking for a flexible, behind-the-scenes way to serve, please contact Kjersten Blair at the church office.

Discovery Land (children’s ministry classroom volunteers: nursery – age 4) – Weekly or Monthly: Sundays (8:30 - 10:45 a.m. or 11 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.) Classroom volunteers care for the children and teach them about Jesus through the lesson and coloring pages. There is much need for volunteers during 2nd Service. Please e-mail Emily Puglisi for more information or to sign up.

Greeting Team – The greeting team welcomes people to the church, distributes welcome packets, and assist people looking for seats on Sunday mornings. People are need for both the first and second service.

Parking Greeters – Welcome people to church by providing warm and friendly direction and leadership in the parking lot. Serve one Sunday per month from 8 – 9:20 a.m. and 10:30 – 11:50 a.m.

Prison Ministry Worship Leader – The prison ministry that serves inmates at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Clarksburg is looking for a worship leader. The ministry meets Wednesday evenings, from 6:30 - 9:15 p.m.

Sermon Media – Help record Sunday messages and post them online, so that church members and people around the world can benefit from the preached Word. Serve once a month: Sundays (8:45 - 10:30 a.m. and/or 11:15 a.m. - 1 p.m.), or weekdays (flexible times). Training will be provided.

Single Parents Meeting Child Care – Help single parents enjoy a time of biblical teaching and fellowship by providing child care during their monthly meetings. Occurs the third Saturday of every month (6 - 9:30 p.m.)

Starting Point Hosts – Starting point is our nine-week new members class. The host team helps set up food and welcome people to the class. It is a great way to get to know people and help connect them into the church.

Sunday Setup and Take Down – is looking for people with strong backs that enjoy teamwork to help prepare the building for services on Sunday. Serve one Sunday per month before first service and after second service.
