It's dinner and a talk, followed by discussion groups that are well-led and thought-provoking--all in an open and welcoming environment. It's a step-by-step look at the story of Jesus Christ in the company of friendly people who enjoy greeting and talking to newcomers. And there's plenty of time for asking questions. Prison Ministry Location: Offsite3 Time: 6:15 PM - 9:15 PM Every Wednesday evening, a dedicated team of men extends friendship, care and compassion to male inmates in the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Clarksburg. Men’s Shelter Location: Offsite2 Time: 5:45 PM - 7:00 PM Children and adults prepare meals and serve dinner at the Men's Shelter on Gude Drive in Rockville on the first Wednesday and third Monday of every month. Business Transition Network Location: Library (131) Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM BTN is a ministry outreach that seeks to assist the unemployed with their job searches. A number of business men and women from Covenant Life serve in monthly meetings to assist with resume reviews, interviewing skills and networking. The goal is to evaluate a teen's readiness for baptism and to prepare. Topics include the meaning of baptism, who should be baptized, assurance of salvation, and God's plan for the local church.
