God is a worker,
and has called us to be workers like him and with him. Some are called to work in the home, some in the church, some in school, and some in the marketplace. Whatever our vocation or area of full-time service, it is a high calling.
Behind our callings is a Caller, the God of Scripture who has good designs for all areas of life. Because his kingdom rules over all (Psalm 103:19), God’s call to honor him and serve others extends to every area of today’s diverse and interconnected marketplace.
Yet, for those called to work in the marketplace, it can be a challenge to reconcile our day-to-day experience with the teaching of Scripture. Have you ever found it difficult to see how the Lord’s work connects to your work?
Whether you are young or old, in college or a seasoned worker, if God has called you to full-time work outside the home or the local church, then Marketplace Ambassadors is designed to serve you with a gospel-centered vision of your professional calling.
