Sunday Classes

Sunday Classes provide members and friends of Covenant Life Church with a steady diet of in-depth teaching in the critical areas of the Bible, theology (both doctrinal and practical) and church history. Taught by members of the pastoral team, all classes are designed to further your knowledge and understanding of who God is.

Sunday Classes are part of a core curriculum that stretches over three to four years. The plan is to cover all of the Bible and important theological topics, and enable you to track your progress through the sequence of classes.

  • You don’t have to be a scholar to benefit.
  • The classes are aimed at everyone high school age and up.
  • All that is required is a hunger to learn and a willingness to consider what you are hearing.

“Worldview and Culture”

Dates: Sundays, July 11 through August 29
Time/Location: 11 a.m. to noon, Room 156
Instructors: Ben Wikner and Robin Boisvert

What does it mean to be not just culturally aware, but culturally responsible? Are you a culture-consumer, culture-critic, or a culture-maker? How do you cultivate a biblical worldview in the home and in the church? What is our responsibility to the world as followers of Christ?

These are some of the questions that Ben Wikner and Robin Boisvert will consider during this 8-week course. As Christians, we need a biblical worldview to shape our thinking and inform our habits, patterns and lifestyles as we live in this world and influence the culture around us.
