Serving Opportunities!

Hi friends,
We’re so grateful for the ways many of you serve in the church as a means of God’s grace to others. And we’d like to highlight 3 ministries that we feel the singles would strongly benefit from serving in & would significantly serve the church this year. If you’re not serving on some ministry team within the church please prayerfully consider one of these roles. Details are below! 

Discovery Land Ministry is kicking off a new year in September & is in need of 700 volunteers to provide childcare. Help is needed in the following areas:
- general classroom childcare
- safety/security
- 1st-5th grade small group leadership

Senior Saints Ministry led by Robin Boisvert is in need of on-call volunteers to serve & care for the seniors in the church. Help is needed in various areas, from household tasks to providing transportation. Ladies, there’s a great opportunity to serve the incoming class of the Pastors College
With 22 PC students & their families from the U.S. and 5 other countries there are over 50 children, and a huge ongoing need for baby sitters. Babysitting for one of these families is not only an opportunity to serve the PC students & their families but to further participate in the gospel-centered mission of the College.

Singles Backyard BBQ! **** We’re Still ON! ****

We hope that you will join us for our annual Backyard BBQ out on the backlawn of the church!  All of the details are below and if you have any questions feel free to email Tery Honeyghan (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)).  Hope to see you there!

What: Singles Backyard BBQ
Where: Covlife’s backlawn
When: Tuesday, June 21st @ 6:30pm
Why: to fellowship & build community  

What’s provided:
-Food: burgers, hot dogs, buns
-Drinks: lemonade, water
-Condiments: ketchup, mustard
-Paper Products: cups, plates, utensils, napkins
-Grills & grillers [singles pastors on the grills!]
-Tables: one for each care group [some indoor seating w/tables]
-Games: volleyball, basketball, soccer

What you should provide:
-food: sides/snacks – enough to share with your cg peeps. Feel free to bring your own protein for the pastors to grill.
-seating: chairs or blankets
-games: cards, frisbees, etc

At the end of the BBQ we will ask EVERY caregroup to help take-down & clean up.
- this includes: wiping off your cg’s table, taking down the tables and chairs, clean up any trash/leftover food items, stack table on cart [outside of south lobby doors], etc.
