Prison Ministry

Team Verse:

Matthew 25:39-40 – "'And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?' And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'"

Team Description:

Extend compassion and friendship while proclaiming the gospel to inmates at the Clarksburg jail.

Serving Location(s):

Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Clarksburg, MD.

Times:

Wednesdays from 6:30-9:15 p.m.

Frequency:

Once a week

Commitment:

One year (can enroll anytime)

Prerequisites:

Criminal background check required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Prior inmates must not have any involvement with the justice system for at least three years.
Must test negative for tuberculosis.
