On Friday evenings from July 20 - August 31, pastor Robin Boisvert will be teaching a weekly class on the doctrine of salvation. Participants will drill deep into the promises and mysteries of Paul’s thinking in Romans 8:28-30:
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
Over six consecutive Friday nights the class will trace out the biblical and theological lines of such topics as grace, election, calling, regeneration (being born again), conversion (faith and repentance), justification, sanctification and glorification. We will learn how these truths work out practically in our lives and result in a deeper worship of God and a greater love toward others.
All are welcome to participate, but Robin extends a special invitation to younger participants. Not only will this class create unique opportunities to fellowship around the Word, but it offers a perfect opportunity to hang out afterwards with like-minded believers.
