Children's Ministry

What to expect in Discovery Land

We're glad to have you and your family in Discovery Land! We believe every child has been created to know and love God, with unique talents and abilities to influence their world and community. We pray that Discovery Land will help your child grow in following Jesus Christ and being active in the church, God's household.

We recognize the greatest influence in your child's life is you and that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. Therefore, we are committed to being a good partner and providing tools to help you teach and train your children.

Our mission is to build our community by partnering with parents to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ in age-appropriate, engaging ways.

Our Commitment

Your child’s safety and security is of utmost importance to us. All Discovery Land volunteers have been carefully pre-screened and are members of Covenant Life.

God’s story of redemption through Jesus Christ is the core of our curriculum and the focus of our lessons for each age group.

Child Check-In

Discovery Land takes place every Sunday morning from 10 to 11:45 AM. We welcome ages newborn to 5th grade.

When you arrive as a first-time guest, please make your way to the guest registration desk, under the big Welcome to Discovery Land sign, where a Discovery Land team member will register your family, and direct you and your child to class.

If you'd like to speed up the process, you can complete a pre-registration form online.

Additional Info

If your child is in need of attention during the service, you will be paged using your family’s unique paging number. You'll see the number pop up on the digital signs in the main auditorium, and then meet your child at the Family Paging office in the Discovery Land hallway. If you do not respond to a page, we'll contact you via text using the cell number you provide.

If your child is sick with fever or even a runny nose, please do not bring them to Discovery Land. Thanks for helping us avoid spreading sickness!

Special Needs

For children with allergies or other special needs, please contact our Help Desk, or the Discovery Land office for ways we might be equipped to assist you.
