Driving Directions
From I-495 (Washington, D.C. Beltway):
• Take I-270 North to Shady Grove Road (Exit 8)
• Turn right (East) on Shady Grove Road.
• Continue until intersection with Muncaster Mill Road
• Turn left onto Muncaster Mill Road.
• Covenant Life Church is the second church on the right.
Shuttle Service from Shady Grove Metro Station
Covenant Life Church provides shuttle service to and from the Shady Grove Metro Station on Sunday mornings. Shady Grove Metro Station is the northern terminus of the Metro Red Line. More information on Metro (Washington Metropolitan Area Transit) is available at the Metro Web Site.
Please note that regular shuttle service is offered for our second meeting only, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The shuttle schedule is:
Leave Metro: 10:55 a.m. | 11:15 a.m.
Leave Church: 10:40 a.m. | 11:05 a.m. | 1:15 p.m. | 1:35 p.m. | 1:55 p.m.
Pick-up/Drop-off Info
The pick-up and drop-off point at Shady Grove Metro is the Kiss-and-Ride Curb (East). When you get off your train, you’ll want to exit the station on the east/Shady Grove Road side. Proceed through a hallway and bear to the right. Look for the Kiss and Ride area by the NIST bus shelter; this is where the Covenant Life shuttle will stop. The Pick-up and Drop-off point at the church is the Guest Parking Lot, near the church’s main entrance.
Ride-On Bus Service from Shady Grove Metro
There is also bus service from the Shady Grove Metro Station to a stop in front of Covenant Life. On Sundays, take Ride-On bus 57 or 58 toward Lakeforest Mall to the bus stop near the Covenant Life entrance. It’s about a 10 minute ride, and the fare is $1.60 with a SmarTrip® card or $1.80 with cash.
