Erin, what a wonderful encouragement to us!
By Denise Griney on 07/21/2010You are an amazing young woman! It is my joy to know you—what an incredible example you are to all of us who suffer trial. God bless you Erin!
By Patti Goodling on 07/21/2010Erin, your courage and faith in the midst of suffering is a powerful witness and encouragement to those presently in trials and those who are being prepared for a latter date to suffer. May the Lord continue to sustain you. I am reminded of this verse from Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Phil’s brother had epilepsy and it affected everyone in the family. Thankful for your family helping you bear your burden for the Lord.
By Mary Baker on 07/21/2010Thank you Erin for serving the Lord - and for serving us - by sharing how God is sustaining you in the midst of this trial. It is both encouraging and provoking to hear your ‘story’ and be freshly reminded to see God in our own trials.
By Steve Taylor on 07/21/2010Praying so much for you, I work with children of disabilities…many of whom experience various trials….thank you so much for being such an encouragement for those who face similar trials!

By Tom and Cindy Ryan on 07/21/2010Thank you for sharing how God is moving on your life through this trail of juvenile epilepsy. Your dependence on the Lord and your love for Him is beautifully evident. You’ll never know what a sweet witness you are for the Him by just how you’re walking through this time in your life. “Search me O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” Psalm 139:23 Erin, there is no doubt that this is difficult and that this is BIG, but God loves you and cares very much for you now and always. Blessings…
Thank You Jesus for such a powerful testimony of Your great love that you have for us…Erin you ROCK! Your love for Jesus is eternally powerful! I have had my health taken away before also and through it all Jesus never changes. Have a great week! God Bless
By Philip on 07/22/2010Erin, your testimony is greatly encouraging, and it is proof of God’s power in this broken world. That you are learning to trust and rejoice in God in the midst of this great and frequent pain shows that He is working in you. Even more amazing is that Christ suffered far greater pains to restore you to God’s favor!
Knowing you is a blessing; I am so glad to consider you a friend. Keep strong in the Lord; your sufferings will end, and you will be dancing with joy around God’s throne someday. See you around!

By DP on 07/22/2010thank you for your wonderful story of encouragement. Having a child with epilepsy I can relate to how this can wreck havoc on your schedule and life! But the true gift of your testimony is that you have submitted to what your physical body has only to serve and be a steward for God. That is inspiring. That is a true sign of your faith in God. thank you for sharing.
By s. kuhns on 07/22/2010I am forwarding this link to my sister Carla, whose daughter—also named Erin—has been suffering with a constant unrelenting migraine for over two years. I’m sure your faith and perseverance, and God’s work in your life will encourage the Pierson family. thanks for being willing to tell your story so God can use it to comfort others in their trials with the same comfort you have received from God (2 cor 1).

By Geney Harvey on 07/22/2010Thank your for sharing your story of how the treasure we have in Christ is sometimes seen best through suffering. Your patient and joyful trust in God proclaims loud and clear that God is good even if we don’t always understand His ways. My prayers are with you as you wait on the Lord.
Erin,
I was very moved by your testimony. Your words call me to trust God when I don’t understand his ways. It was great to see your mom & dad up there with you…how I love them and miss them!
My prayer for you: In your weakness may God’s strength be revealed. May you know the presence & comfort of the Holy Spirit Erin. May you hear God’s voice all the clearer because of this affliction and may you delight in what you hear Him speak to you.
“He delivers the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ear by adversity.” Job 36:15
