Thank you Josh, I am really encouraged by this talk. The Lord is truly in control of all things, no matter what happens, those of us who trust Jesus and are owned by Jesus will receive riches far beyond imagination when His Kingdom comes! Praise God for His grace!
By Peter Huang on 10/17/2008During these same comments in the First Service you had mentioned that we would have a special sermon addressing the economy. Maybe you could address the change in plans and sticking with the Ephesians series? I am enjoying Ephesians, but as a Branch Manager of a local Bank has eagerly anticipated a sermon on the economy. Thanks for caring for us spiritually through this unusual time.
By Joseph Hutchinson on 10/19/2008Joey,
I’m so sorry for not explaining the change. I do hope to do a message sometime in the days to come regarding faith in God during economic uncertainty. But I decided to wait because I wanted to get a little clearer picture of how things are unfolding. I felt that a message like that might serve everyone better when the full implications of the crisis are grasped by everyone.
All that being said, I’m sorry I didn’t get that word out better last week. Thanks!
Joshua
By Joshua Harris on 10/20/2008We occasoinally visited Covenant Fellowship when it was meeting in Newtown Square. It was wonderful! Now you are a distance from us but are thinking of taking the time to visit again. This blog has convinced me that we should.
