Upcoming Sunday Classes
0 CommentsUPDATE (Jan. 1, 2012): Plans have changed since we posted this letter. The Sunday Class planned for January, “Reading God’s Word for All Its Worth,” has become a sermon series. In essence, Sunday Class for this month has moved to the main auditorium! So, the schedule you see below for February to June still applies, but there will be no Sunday Class in January.
Dear Friends,
I want to invite you to take advantage of an opportunity to grow in your Bible reading and knowledge. Don DeVries’ Sunday Class starting January 8 is entitled “Reading God’s Word for All Its Worth,” and it’s going to be a great way to kick off your new year devotional plans. The class will cover:
• Choosing a Bible translation
• Understanding the different writing styles in the Bible
• How the Old and New Testaments work together as a whole
• Principles for understanding the Word
If you would like to read your Bible more proactively and grow in understanding God’s Word or sharing it with others, you’ll want to consider attending Don’s class. It’s offered at 9:30 and 11 a.m. on January 8, 15, 22 and 29.
I also want to encourage you to check out these Sunday Classes coming up in the new year:
