Winter 2024 Sunday Classes

Sunday Classes help us go deeper into theology, cultural issues, and practical Christian living.

All around us, cultural pressure is increasing and theological literacy is declining. There is increasing confusion and dysfunction. As a result, we believe that an hour of worship and preaching is no longer enough to fully equip the church for its calling in this age. Sunday Classes will help us go deeper into theology, cultural issues, and practical Christian living.

1. Rooted: A Study of the Westminster Confession of Faith

Register–Rooted

The Westminster Confession of Faith is a consensus theological document (it’s not just the thought of one man, but the distillation of the work of 120) teaching us who God is and what He has done. All true theology leads to doxology. In other words, this study will help us to worship God in Spirit and truth—the reason we were created!

5. Relational Evangelism

REGISTER–Relational Evangelism

After His resurrection, Jesus outlined the plan: “… you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). But how do we do that, and where do we start?  How about next door! We find ourselves providentially placed in one of the most diverse regions in the country. This class combines three short mini-courses to help us grow in relational evangelism right where God has placed us. We hope to emerge with opened hearts, untied tongues, and tools that enable us to carry God’s love across the street and beyond. Come join us!

6. Women's Bible Study: Philippians

Register–Women's Bible Study

Philippians, perhaps more than any other New Testament epistle, anchors believers in joy and a contagious passion for Christ. The book of Philippians describes the pain the apostle Paul endured as a follower of Christ. Writing to the church in Philippi, he declares that nothing - not even imprisonment - will stop him from rejoicing in the Lord. That's because Jesus was Paul's whole reason for living.
