The Care and Counseling Team has officially launched our ministry expansion. This has been a long time coming!
We know that pastors have a role in caring for the flock as undershepherds, and so do skilled and experienced caregivers and outside professionals. Yet we also have a role in caring for one another...and we can all learn to care for one another well!
Our vision is that Covenant Life Church be known for caring for others well. While we recognize that not every church member is completely equipped to help in every situation, we do believe that the people of God, filled with the Spirit of God, can offer biblical care and counsel to one another in humility and with grace. Toward that end, the Care and Counseling team offers periodic seminars and workshops.
For information on how you can get involved in the Care & Counseling ministry, email Beth Riddlesberger.
Kim Sütter, a licensed therapist and biblical counselor with more than 30 years of experience caring for people, teamed up with staff counselor Beth Riddlesberger to provide training in listening skills. By learning and applying these basic skills, you will become a better spouse, parent, son or daughter, small group leader, neighbor, co-worker, and friend.
