Faith, Work, and the Cultural Mandate

To Encourage, Equip, and Engage
May 18, 2019

May 18 | 9 AM-12 PM at Covenant Life Church

The mission of the Covenant Life Church Faith & Works Ministry is to “Encourage, Equip, and Engage”.  We want to biblically encourage and equip our church community to engage in “seeking the welfare of the city” for the glory of God and the good of others.

"Faith, Work, and the Cultural Mandate" will prove helpful to those who are in the marketplace, students, mothers serving in the home or in the workforce, and anyone else who has the capacity to work and serve others with their gifts and talents. You will learn more about the Biblical cultural mandate, and the importance of abiding in Christ, that lead to faithfulness in the workplace.

Our featured speaker will be Hugh Whelchel, Executive Director of The Institute of Faith, Works, and Economics. Hugh has the passion and expertise to help individuals integrate their faith and vocational calling.  He authored How Then Should We Work? Rediscovering the Biblical Doctrine of Work, has a Masters Degree in Religion from the Reformed Theological Seminary, and is a very engaging speaker.

We look forward to seeing you there!
