Sunday Classes help us go deeper into theology, cultural issues, and practical Christian living.

All around us, cultural pressure is increasing and theological literacy is declining. There is increasing confusion and dysfunction. As a result, we believe that an hour of worship and preaching is no longer enough to fully equip the church for its calling in this age. Sunday Classes will help us go deeper into theology, cultural issues, and practical Christian living.

1. Membership Matters

This 4-week class is designed to give a deeper introduction to Covenant Life Church. As pastors explain the beliefs and values that shape our church life, you’ll get a better sense of the church community and discover ways to get involved.

2. What is Reformed Theology?

It's important to realize that we are all theologians in the sense that we're trying to understand the Bible's teachings so that we might live lives that please God. It's been said that we will not serve someone we do not love, and we cannot love someone we do not know. Our prayer is that through our study together we will grow in knowledge, love and service to our gracious and merciful God. In this class we will explore the foundational doctrines that emerged from the Protestant Reformation. We will begin by centering on the God of glory who is revealed in Scripture, the person and work of Jesus Christ and the application of His work in our lives by the Holy Spirit. We will utilize the famous T.U.L.I.P. acronym to begin to understand how these doctrines fit together.

3. Flourishing in Retirement

Are you approaching or in retirement? The Bible never uses the word retirement but gives a wealth of wisdom on how to live these years for God’s glory and your best good. Topics addressed will be for the flourishing of your spirit, soul and body (health). We want to finish well, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”(2Tim 4:7).
