Deeper Dive: The Need for Creeds Sunday Class

This class will provide the rationale for and benefits of affirming historic Christian confessions of faith. Particular attention will be given to the London Baptist Confession of 1689 and how it could function within Covenant Life. Each class session will include teaching followed by open Q and A time with a panel of elders.

3. September 21 - What is the London Baptist Confession of 1689? The development and distinctives of the LBC.

4. September 28 - How does a church subscribe to a confession? The nature and implications of confessional subscription.

5. October 5 - Articles of Distinction: Church Government

6. October 12 - Articles of Distinction: Baptism

7. October 19 - Articles of Distinction: Civil Magistrate

8. October 26 - Articles of Interest: Papacy

9. November 2 - Articles of Interest: Sabbath

10. November 9 - Articles of Interest: Creation
