Local Prayer Requests

• That God would work in and through those participating on the Youth Local Missions team (June 20-24) and the Montgomery County “Engage The Nations” team (June 22-25), empowering them to love people in our community in both word and deed.
• For a growing love for and involvement with people in our community by us as individuals and corporately as a church.
• That God would use the members of the Local Missions Committee to really help support and strengthen existing ministry as well as catalyze new outreach.
• That our church would be a great blessing to our community and that our neighbors would see that we are for our community.
• That the seeds of the gospel would be sown among every demographic in our community and that many would hear and believe.

Global Prayer Requests

Please use the Scriptures and suggestions below to pray for the following partners: Access Partners, Christian Horizons, Covenant Global Ministries, Global Gates, Gospel To China, Gospel Harvest Missions, Grace Harbor Church, Hope Community Church and Oasis Christian Church:

• Thank the Lord for these wonderful servants who preach the good news. (Romans 10:13-15)
• Ask the Father to guard the deposit he has entrusted to our partners. (2 Timothy 1:3-14)
• Ask the Lord to provide an abundance of grace for our partners to rejoice always, to not be anxious but pray with thanksgiving. Ask for God’s peace to guard their hearts, for contentment in every situation, and for the confidence that  all things can be done through him who strengthens them. (Philippians 4:4-19)
• Ask the Lord to bring to completion the good work he began in our partners. (Philippians 1:3-6)
• Ask the Lord to help them to stand firm and not grow weary. (Philippians 4:1, Galatians 6:9)
• Ask the Father to give them discernment and remind them that greater is he who is in them than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:1-4)
• Ask the Lord to help them remember the eyes of the Lord are on them and he gives strong support. (2 Chronicles 16:9)
• Ask the Lord to provide generously for all their needs. (2 Corinthians 9:6-15)
• Ask the Lord to bring the words of Psalm 37 alive in each partner as they delight in the Lord.
• Finally, ask the Father to fill them with hope and sear upon their hearts that the word of the Lord will not return void. (Isaiah 55:1-13)

2016 Summer Short-Term

Pray that every team member would go as a servant, guest, and learner.  May each team member be blessed with an abundance of faith, grace, love, health, humility and adequate financial provision. Pray 1 Corinthians 16:14 for every team member: "Let all that you do be done in love."
