Evening With Access Partners

(Friday, December 4 – 7 PM in Spurgeon Room)

Access Partners (AP) works primarily in Central Asia to provide "creative access" to areas least reached and hostile to the Gospel. Specifically, AP has been successful in creating and supporting companies designed to provide workers with credible access to unreached people throughout Central Asia.  Within the last several months, a new initiative called the Strategic Cities Initiative (SCI) has been launched and focuses on men and women who may be able to take their job or company to an overseas location. Please join us for an "update and opportunities" evening with Access Partners.

Introducing God

(Tuesday nights, January 19-March 15 – 6:45-9:30 PM)

“Introducing God” is a nine-week class that covers the basics of the Christian faith. It’s dinner and a talk, followed by thought-provoking discussion groups, all in an open and welcoming environment. Bring a friend or co-worker or volunteer to serve (as an individual or care group) in one of the many volunteer slots.

Unreached Within Reach

(Tuesday nights, January 19-March 8 – 7-9:30 PM in Spurgeon Room)

This eight-week practicum led by trainers from Global Gates is designed to encourage, envision and equip believers to share the gospel with locals from mostly unreached people groups or nations. Assignments focus more on application than reading. This training can be a helpful auxiliary to the “Perspectives” course, but completion of the “Perspectives” course is not required. (Registration fee: $100) To register, click here. [LINK TO Formstack Sign up]
Note: When this course was first offered in Winter 2015, several attendees decided to keep meeting in order to apply what they had learned. This group meets once per month and is open to any who are committed to growing in prayer for and practical outreach to unreached peoples (in the community and beyond).

“One Step Forward” Evangelism Workshop

(Saturday, February 20 – 8:30 AM-Noon in Spurgeon Room)

This workshop will help you clarify your understanding of the gospel, share your personal testimony more comfortably with others, and introduce you to a range of helpful resources. Through role-playing and interactive scenarios, each participant will gain confidence in sharing the good news with others.

“Perspectives on the World Christian Movement”

(January-May, Fourth Presbyterian Church)

Fourth Presbyterian Church (5500 River Road, Bethesda, MD 20816) is hosting the “Perspectives” course on Thursday evenings from January 7 through May 5 (7-9:45 PM).
